WELCOME
TO OUR PRACTICE
This practice was established in the early years of the century. During the 1990s the premises were extended to incorporate the adjoining house so that clinical facilities are on the ground floor. Our aim is to provide a friendly and homely service from a building that can be adapted to meet the medical requirements of the 21st Century. We have two male doctors and one female doctor. We have a practice nurse and a health care assistant. We have one part-time practice nurse and a healthcare assistant. Our administrative staff consists of a practice manager, a medical secretary, a computer operator and six receptionists.
All our consulting rooms are at ground floor level with a slight ramp to gain access to the building. Wheelchair access should not be a problem.
Attached to the practice we have health visitors, district nurses, midwife, physiotherapist, community psychiatric nurses, alcohol counsellor, pharmacy advisor and advice counsellor.

WHEN ARE
WE OPEN ?
The surgery is open from 8.30am until 12.30pm
and 1.30pm until 6.30pm on Mondays to Fridays.
GP TRAINING
This surgery is a GP Training Practice. At times, as part of their training,
GP Registrars (ie qualified doctors who are training to specialise in General
Practice) need to video some of their consultations with patients. These videos
are then used for assessment of the GP Registrar. Some patients may, therefore,
be invited to have their consultation with the Registrar video taped. All patients
can refuse video consultation if they so wish and this will not affect the care
given to them by the surgery.
